Central Valley Opportunity Center (CVOC) strongly believes that higher education is the most effective tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and increasing the quality of life in our community. To that end, each year for the past 39 years, CVOC has donated scholarships to academically deserving, low-income high school students in its tri-county service area of Madera, Merced, and Stanislaus counties. In 2017, a total of 18 scholarships were awarded in the amount of $27,000.00 to the high school students below.
