1         Bus Driver/Custodian

2        DLW Case Manager/Job Developer

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for client recruitment, testing, assessment, orientation and on-going evaluation. Coordinates instruction, counseling, planning, evaluation, documentation, and goal setting with clients. Responsible for developing unsubsidized jobs and On-The-Job-Training (OJT) in the private sector for program participants. Responsible for meeting monthly enrollment & placement quotas.

3        Program Instructor (HEP, GED, ESL, ELL)

LOCATION:   Modesto

SALARY:  $50–$57K/YR., DOE. Full Time, Benefits & 401(k)

POSITION SUMMARY: The programs teaches students in five high school subjects; thus, the Instructor must have a wide-ranging knowledge of these areas (math, science, reading, writing, and social studies). In addition, the incumbent must have experience working with non-traditional and at-risk students. Many of the students speak English either as a second language or not at all. The Instructor must be able to teach these students in an effective manner over the course of the 16 week program. Particularly important to this position is experience with math, reading instruction and disability diagnosis. In addition, the Instructor must have cultural sensitivity to the needs of migrant farm workers. In order for the students to learn effectively, they must trust the Instructor. In order for trust to build, the Instructor must understand the problems which the students face. Furthermore, the Instructor must be flexible and versatile in order to teach students with a diverse array of learning impediments. assigned.

4        Youth Specialist – Farmworker Services

LOCATION: Merced, Madera and Stanislaus Counties

SALARY:  $46- $54K/YR Full Time, Benefits & 401(k)

POSITION SUMMARY: NFJP Youth Specialist plays a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and resources to young individuals 
engaged in farm work or dependents of farmworkers. The Youth Specialist will work directly with youth, ages 
18-24, to help them navigate their career paths, address challenges they face in their work environments, and 
access educational and professional development opportunities. This position requires a combination of 
counseling skills, knowledge of agricultural work environments, workforce development and a passion for 
youth.
